This Constellation - Milkyway Ring by Martha Seely transforms a domed gold ring into a dense constellation of color. Thirty-five gemstones spread across the curved surface in an exuberant mix of orange and yellow sapphires, amethysts, Swiss blue topaz, pink tourmalines, tsavorites and rhodolites, with white diamonds punctuating the composition like brighter stars. The dome gives the gemstones different angles to the light, creating a constantly shifting view as the hand moves. Despite the abundance of color, the tapering shank keeps the silhouette balanced. It captures Seely’s celestial design language beautifully, translating the clustered brilliance and unexpected hues of the Milky Way into a highly wearable piece of fine jewelry.

Gold domed ring with 35 colored gemstones totaling approximately 1.6 ct: orange sapphires, amethysts, Swiss blue topaz, pink tourmalines, tsavorites, rhodolites and yellow sapphires. Prong-set white diamonds totaling approximately 0.06 ct. Dome measures approximately 7 mm wide, tapering to a 2 mm shank.
