This Sagittarius Pendant by Carina Hardy translates the sign’s outward-looking energy into the focused line of a bow and arrow. Rendered with recycled 18K gold accents, the bow and arrow tip extend beyond the circular sterling silver field, visually reinforcing the idea of aiming toward distant goals and unfamiliar horizons. The imagery reflects Sagittarius themes of curiosity, optimism and independence, while the centaur symbolism beneath it speaks to the balance between intellect and instinct. On the reverse, the constellation is mapped through tactile dots linked by etched lines, offering a quieter celestial interpretation. Sculptural and forward-moving, the pendant feels less like a horoscope token than a miniature emblem of exploration.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
