This Pearl Duet Ring by Carina Hardy offers a distinctly sculptural response to the romantic Toi et Moi tradition. Rather than presenting two pearls symmetrically above the finger, Hardy carves two irregular apertures into an organic metal form and allows each pink pearl to appear nested within its own opening. The imbalance is deliberate, giving the pair a more natural sense of dialogue than traditional matching stones. Bold in volume but intimate in detail, the ring celebrates togetherness without demanding sameness. Handcrafted in Bali with responsibly sourced pearls, it works beautifully as a statement of partnership, duality or simply unconventional pearl design.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
