This Lilypad Slider by Carina Hardy turns a botanical form into both ornament and mechanism. A convex, dimensional lilypad sits at the center of the bracelet and functions simultaneously as its visual focal point and seamless slider clasp, allowing engineering to disappear into the sculptural design. The rounded leaf form feels organic and tactile without becoming overly literal, giving the piece an understated character that works particularly well in a stack. Its minimal chain leaves space around the lilypad so the hand-carved shape can be appreciated from multiple angles. Designed and handcrafted in Bali, the bracelet is offered in warm 22K gold vermeil or recycled sterling silver.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
