This Libra Pendant by Carina Hardy gives the zodiac scales a dynamic, sculptural interpretation rather than presenting them as a flat emblem. A curved bowl rendered in recycled 18K yellow gold wraps toward and slightly beyond the circular sterling silver background, turning balance into something spatial and active. The form reflects Libra’s associations with harmony, fairness, aesthetics and the continual weighing of opposing perspectives. On the reverse, the constellation is translated into dotted points connected by etched lines, introducing a quieter celestial language behind the more figurative front. The result feels thoughtful, tactile and intentionally asymmetrical, a wearable study of equilibrium that resists the predictability of traditional horoscope jewelry.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
