This 18K Solo Diamond Ring by Carina Hardy approaches the diamond solitaire through the language of water rather than traditional prongs and symmetry. A slender recycled-gold band rises into an organic droplet form, where a radiant diamond is enclosed within the sculpted surface instead of floating above it. The result feels more like a precious element discovered inside liquid metal than a conventional stone setting. Produced as a limited series of sixty and handcrafted in Bali, the ring brings intimacy and rarity to an otherwise familiar jewellery archetype, making it compelling as either an unconventional commitment ring or a personal diamond piece.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
