This 18K Single Sleeping Venus by Carina Hardy renders the house’s reclining female figure in recycled 18K yellow gold, giving the intimate sculpture the permanence and warmth of solid precious metal. The Venus drapes naturally across the wrist, with the body shaped to follow its curve rather than sitting rigidly on top. A rolo chain provides a simple framework, while a single pink pearl pod adds a small point of color and softness. Produced as a limited series of forty and handcrafted in Bali, the bracelet feels personal and collectible, with its figurative centerpiece retaining the individuality of the carving process rather than pursuing perfect mechanical symmetry.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
