This 18K Lilypad Signet by Carina Hardy brings a botanical subject to one of jewellery’s most traditional silhouettes. A hand-sculpted lily pad spreads across the smooth signet face, its organic surface centred by a single radiant diamond that resembles a bead of light or water resting on the leaf. The combination of familiar signet proportions and natural imagery gives the ring a calm, contemporary character while retaining substantial presence. Crafted in recycled 18k yellow gold and made in a limited series of sixty, it reflects Hardy’s ability to bring hand-carved irregularity into refined precious materials without losing the evidence of touch.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
