This 18K Lilypad Pendant by Carina Hardy renders a single lily pad in meticulous recycled 18K gold, preserving its delicate veins with almost anatomical precision. At the center, a radiant diamond creates a quiet focal point, catching the light without overwhelming the hand-carved botanical surface. The resemblance between plant veins and those within the human body gives the piece deeper resonance, linking natural structure with our own physical existence. A smooth reverse makes the pendant tactile as well as visual, while the 18-inch solid-gold chain keeps it close to the body. Limited to 30 examples, it feels intimate, collectible and deeply rooted in Hardy’s organic vocabulary.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
