These 18K Lilypad Jugs by Carina Hardy shape recycled 18K yellow gold into three-dimensional vase-like drops covered with intricate lilypad impressions. The clustered leaves behave almost like organic armour, wrapping the curved form in dense botanical texture while a responsibly sourced diamond faces forward on each earring as a precise point of brilliance. Their elongated 3cm scale gives the jug silhouette room to move and reveal different surfaces as the wearer turns. Limited to a series of 20, the design combines vessel, plant and jewel in one sculptural object. Wear them alone so the carved-looking texture and changing profile remain fully visible.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
