These 18K Lilypad Embrace by Carina Hardy turn the lobe into a setting for a miniature landscape of hand-shaped botanical detail. Sculptural lilypads cluster across recycled 18K yellow gold, creating a richly textured surface with a baroque sense of abundance, while one responsibly sourced diamond in each earring introduces a concentrated point of light. The huggie form curves closely around the ear and fastens with a sturdy omega clip, balancing ornate texture with practical construction. Limited to a series of 20, the pair feels intimate despite its detail, translating the quiet complexity of floating leaves into a tactile piece of fine jewellery.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
