This 18K Lilypad Pond Band by Carina Hardy creates an entire miniature ecosystem around the finger. Hand-sculpted lily pads overlap in continuous rhythm, joined by a tiny snake, flower and radiant diamond that invite the eye to move around the band rather than focus on a single front-facing motif. The richly worked exterior contrasts with a smooth inner surface designed for comfortable wear. Cast in recycled 18k yellow gold, the piece turns pond life into a precious tactile landscape while retaining the irregularity of hand carving. Limited to sixty examples, it is designed and handcrafted in Bali with diamond setting completed in Bangkok.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
