This 18K Daughter Ring by Carina Hardy offers a lighter, more delicate counterpart to the Mother design. A slender recycled-gold band parts along its upper surface, revealing a line of tiny pink pearls running through the undulating opening. Their small scale gives the piece a youthful delicacy, while the split construction keeps the design unmistakably sculptural. The pearls remain partially sheltered within the gold rather than sitting traditionally above it, creating the impression of something precious held safely inside. Handcrafted in Bali and produced in a limited series of one hundred, it can stand alone or create a particularly meaningful pairing with the Mother ring.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
