This Drops Trio Gold Necklace by Carina Hardy explores weight, motion and material contrast through a line of sculptural droplets that roll and turn along the skin. Cool rhodium-plated silver forms the majority of the necklace, while three latticed recycled 18K gold drops gather at its center, each slightly individual in character. The difference in tone and surface makes the golden trio feel discovered rather than simply decorative, drawing attention to variation within repetition. A concealed push-spring clasp keeps the engineering visually quiet. Fluid and tactile, the necklace encourages awareness of the body beneath it, turning movement, temperature and touch into part of the wearing experience.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
