This Drops Flex Cuff by Carina Hardy balances cool silver and warm gold through a flexible sequence of sculptural droplets. Lightweight rhodium-plated silver forms articulate around the wrist, ending in two latticed 18K yellow-gold drops that create a clear material contrast at the open ends. The individual elements shift, glide and settle as the body moves, giving the cuff a tactile quality that changes throughout wear. It can be positioned with the opening turned inward or outward, offering two subtly different presentations of the gold terminals. Limited to one hundred pieces and handcrafted in Bali, the design feels fluid despite the solidity of its recycled precious metals.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
