This Woman of Willendorf by Carina Hardy places figurative art within the brand’s recurring language of sculptural water and intimate body-conscious jewelry. Enclosed within an organic droplet and accented with three pink pearls, the pendant carries a strong sense of femininity, tactility and historical reference while remaining deliberately unconventional. Its long 32-inch Cardano chain allows the form to sit lower on the torso, encouraging the pendant to be experienced in relation to the body rather than simply at the neckline. The combination of sculptural metal and pearl luster reinforces Hardy’s fascination with softness and strength, ancient imagery and contemporary handcraft existing simultaneously.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
