These Triple Elppin Drop Earrings by Carina Hardy build an elongated protective rhythm from three hand-cut, hammered evil-eye forms. Each layer echoes the one above, creating a 10cm vertical cascade whose repeated shapes move freely with the wearer rather than remaining rigid beside the face. The hammered surfaces catch light unevenly, reinforcing the handmade character and giving the symbolic eyes more tactile depth than a polished motif. Offered in 22K gold vermeil or recycled sterling silver, the design can feel either warm and luminous or cooler and more graphic. Handcrafted in Bali, the pair combines protection symbolism with dramatic movement and deliberate repetition.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
