These Pearl Droplets by Carina Hardy suspend twelve natural pink pearls within a sequence of sculptural water forms, capturing the feeling of droplets paused mid-fall. Each responsibly sourced pearl is enclosed rather than simply mounted, allowing soft pink lustre to appear from within the surrounding metal as the earrings move. Offered in 22K gold vermeil or recycled sterling silver, the 4cm drops shift between warmth and cooler contrast while preserving their liquid, protective architecture. Handcrafted in Bali, the repeated forms create gentle movement beside the face without losing their organic irregularity. Wear them alone so the relationship between pearl, enclosure and falling-water rhythm remains fully visible.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
