These LP Studs Small by Carina Hardy reduce the lilypad to a delicate form that appears to emerge directly from the ear. Their organic contours and softly modelled surface give the small studs more depth than a flat botanical motif, allowing subtle shadows to define the shape as the wearer moves. At approximately 1cm, they remain refined enough for regular wear while retaining the hand-shaped character central to the Lilypad collection. Handcrafted in Bali, the pair feels intimate and quietly tactile rather than decorative. Wear them alone for the most restrained interpretation of the collection, or place them beside simple hoops to introduce a small note of natural texture.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
