This LP Signet by Carina Hardy softens the formality of a traditional signet through a hand-carved lily pad. The smooth band provides a clean frame for the organic motif, allowing the leaf’s irregular contours and detailed surface to become the focus without unnecessary embellishment. Botanical imagery gives the ring a quieter character than heraldic or monogrammed signets, while its substantial face still provides the familiar sense of authority associated with the form. Designed and handcrafted in Bali, the piece balances traditional jewellery architecture with the maker’s more intuitive fascination with natural growth and texture.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
