This LP Pond Band by Carina Hardy wraps the finger in a continuous field of hand-carved lily pads. Each leaf nestles into the next, creating a dense botanical rhythm with no obvious beginning or end, while a smooth inner surface preserves comfort against the skin. The design reflects Carina Hardy’s interest in natural forms that feel observed rather than idealised, allowing small variations in shape and texture to remain part of its character. Substantial enough to wear independently but richly detailed at close range, the band turns an ordinary pond surface into a tactile piece of jewellery handcrafted in Bali.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
Designed and handcrafted in Bali. 22k gold vermeil or recycled sterling silver. Hand-carved lily-pad surface; smooth interior. Approx. 2 x 0.5cm / 1 x 0.2in.
