This LP Pendant Small by Carina Hardy brings the lilypad down to an intimate, almost talismanic scale. A single hand-carved pad is rendered with extraordinary attention to its natural veining, which Hardy likens to the network of veins within the human body. That visual connection transforms a familiar botanical form into a quiet reflection on interconnectedness between body and landscape. The smooth reverse contrasts beautifully with the detailed face, making touch part of the experience of the piece. Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
