These LP Lotus Studs by Carina Hardy interpret the flower through asymmetry, allowing hand-carved petals to unfold with a natural irregularity rather than perfect repetition. Each curve catches light and shadow differently, giving the compact stud a surprising sense of depth and movement despite its 0.5cm scale. The absence of gemstones keeps attention on the modelling itself: petal edges, recessed spaces and the quiet rhythm of the opening bloom. Offered in 22K gold vermeil or recycled sterling silver, the pair can feel warmer or more graphic while retaining its serene character. Handcrafted in Bali, they bring a sculptural botanical detail to everyday wear.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
