This LP Ensemble Choker by Carina Hardy gathers multiple hand-carved lilypads into an intricate procession around the neck. Seen together, the botanical forms become almost anatomical, a miniature landscape following the contours of the body rather than simply decorating it. Each pad carries individual carving, giving the choker the irregularity and human touch central to Hardy’s practice. The adjustable construction allows the piece to sit closely and deliberately, while a custom clasp continues the craftsmanship beyond the visible front. Sculptural yet intimate, it feels less like a conventional necklace and more like a small wearable ecosystem, celebrating multiplicity, connection and the repeated patterns shared by nature and ourselves.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
