This Chasm Band Ring by Carina Hardy condenses the drama of the Chasm collection into a slimmer, highly wearable band. The silver surface appears split across its crown, with brown and black diamonds embedded inside the narrow fault line like mineral deposits revealed by pressure. A cratered exterior strengthens the geological character, while the interior remains smooth against the finger, creating a deliberate contrast between rupture and calm. The effect is subtle from a distance but increasingly complex up close. Handcrafted in Bali from recycled sterling silver and produced in a limited series of one hundred, the ring brings texture and darker gemstone colour into an everyday format.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
