This Capricorn Pendant by Carina Hardy brings the mythical Sea-Goat into a compact sculptural scene of ambition and adaptability. The goat’s sturdy body and upward gaze express discipline and perseverance, while its curling fish tail in recycled 18K gold introduces a softer symbol of intuition and emotional depth. The tail extends beyond the circular sterling silver ground, breaking the frame and giving the composition a sense of motion. Together, the dual elements reflect Capricorn’s balance between practical determination and quieter inner wisdom. The reverse maps the constellation through tactile dots and etched connecting lines, giving the piece both figurative and celestial identities depending on how it is worn.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
