These Braid Wreath Studs by Carina Hardy coil recycled 925 sterling silver into tiny graduated circles that sit like miniature crowns against the lobe. The braided construction gives the wreath more depth than a smooth metal ring, while the changing scale of the plait creates a subtle sense of movement around the form. At 0.8cm, the studs remain compact enough for stacking but retain enough surface for the woven texture to register clearly. Limited to a series of 100, they make an elegant bridge between sculptural detail and everyday wear. Pair them with simple silver huggies or let the tactile braid stand alone.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
