This Braid Link Bracelet by Carina Hardy recreates the irregular rhythm of hand-braided hair through a sequence of tapering sterling-silver links. Each asymmetrical rectangular section is individually carved with woven detail, allowing the bracelet to retain a distinctly hand-worked character rather than the uniformity of machine-made chain. The links articulate naturally around the wrist, while a discreet hinge lock is concealed within a circular wreath closure, turning an engineering detail into part of the sculpture. Limited to one hundred pieces and handcrafted in Bali, the bracelet demonstrates the brand’s interest in making functional construction visually inseparable from ornament. The result feels tactile, substantial and quietly intricate.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
