These Braid Flex Hoops by Carina Hardy combine a woven surface with a silhouette engineered for ease. Recycled 925 sterling silver narrows near the lobe and expands toward the base, giving the hoop a fuller lower curve while preserving a light, balanced feel. The braided texture introduces depth across the surface, and the flexible construction allows the earring to open with a gentle movement rather than a conventional rigid hinge. Limited to a series of 100, the pair is designed for comfortable everyday wear and playful stacking. Their strength lies in the contrast between a substantial-looking form and the supple, lightweight way it interacts with the ear.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
