This Braid Double Wrap Flex Ring by Carina Hardy extends a single braided silver form around the finger one and a half times, creating both movement and visual continuity. The braid gradually tapers as it coils, allowing the ring to feel substantial without becoming visually heavy. Its flexible construction adds a tactile quality to the design, reinforcing the sense that this is a piece intended to respond to the body rather than sit rigidly upon it. The uninterrupted braid naturally evokes strength created through interconnection, while the double-wrap architecture gives that symbolism a more sculptural expression. Handcrafted in Bali in a limited edition.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
Limited edition of 100. Recycled 925 sterling silver with flexible graduated braid wrapping approximately 1.5 times around the finger. Designed and handcrafted in Bali. Approx. 0.8cm.
