These 18K Pavé Kiss by Carina Hardy capture an embrace at the precise point where two figures intersect. Brown diamonds and yellow sapphires are pavé set into recycled 18K yellow gold, creating a warm field of light from which the lovers emerge, framed by an organically rounded form and textured gold-leaf surface. The figurative detail is compressed into a 0.9cm stud, making the image something discovered at close range rather than announced from across the room. Limited to a series of 100, the design treats intimacy itself as the subject, using precious material, texture and miniature scale to turn a familiar human gesture into a private wearable scene.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
