These 18K Pavé Double Crescent Hoops by Carina Hardy create the appearance of an ear stack within a single sculptural earring. Two recycled 18K yellow-gold hoops begin together, separate briefly and reunite below the lobe, forming a crescent-like silhouette and a subtle hidden meeting point. Responsibly sourced brown diamonds and yellow sapphires are pavé set across the form, adding warm, tonal sparkle without obscuring its unusual architecture. The doubled construction gives the compact 1cm hoop greater depth from the side as well as the front. Limited to a series of 100, they are a clever study in separation, reunion and layered proportion.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
