These 18K Foot Studs by Carina Hardy turn a tiny human gesture into an unexpectedly expressive piece of jewellery. Two raised feet capture the familiar “foot pop” of a kiss, when one heel lifts instinctively in a moment of affection, giving the miniature forms a playful narrative despite their refined material. Crafted in recycled 18K yellow gold, the figurative studs are small enough to join an ear stack yet distinctive enough to wear alone. Their charm lies in recognizing the gesture only after looking closely. Limited to a series of 100, they translate romance through anatomy and movement rather than through a conventional heart or gemstone motif.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
