These 18K Diamond Huggies by Carina Hardy reduce the language of water to a compact, close-fitting form. Each hollow huggie is shaped like an organic droplet in recycled 18K yellow gold, with a single responsibly sourced diamond nestled inside rather than displayed across the outer surface. The concealed placement invites a closer look and gives the brilliance a private, almost secret quality. Their small scale and comfortable construction make them unusually easy to live with, including for extended wear, while the sculpted gold keeps them visually distinctive. Limited to a series of 50, they are understated fine jewellery with an intimate sense of discovery.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
