This 18K Diamond Dome Tag Necklace by Carina Hardy hides its most precious detail inside an organic golden droplet. Sculpted in recycled 18K yellow gold, the miniature dome encases a diamond rather than displaying it conventionally, drawing the eye inward and rewarding curiosity with a flash of secret brilliance. That inward focus is characteristic of Hardy’s approach, where beauty is something discovered through attention rather than announced immediately. The water-drop form references the natural world while the small scale makes the piece intensely personal, almost like a private object carried against the body. Produced in a limited series of 100, it balances quietness, rarity and meticulous handcraft.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
