These 18K Daughter Contour Studs by Carina Hardy follow the ear with a slender, softly undulating form that feels grown rather than engineered. Each recycled 18K yellow-gold pod cradles tiny pink pearls, holding them in a neat internal line while the surrounding metal curves organically around them. The contrast between the pearls’ quiet lustre and the irregular contour gives the pair an intimate, tactile character. Their narrow profile makes them particularly effective within an ear stack, where they introduce texture without overwhelming neighbouring pieces. Limited to a series of 100, they balance delicate scale with the unmistakable presence of hand-shaped fine jewellery.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women. Carina has worked in many mediums, including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her lover Tavish, they established Carina Hardy in 2024.
