Sahira Jewelry Design specializes in creating timeless and affordable fashion jewelry for the modern woman. It’s handmade jewelry that is designed to be lived in and to last a lifetime. Founder Sahira traces her inspiration to her joyous childhood in the Dominican Republic, where a love for luxe fabrics and beautiful clothing was imparted by her fashion designer mother. Now based in Florida, Sahira explored various retail positions in fashion before discovering her passion for jewelry design. She began by crafting jewelry for herself and would be stopped by passersby asking where it was from. Sahira soon realized she was happiest making jewelry, and people loved her creations. She found the courage to take the plunge and quit her job to establish Sahira Jewelry Design in 2014. Bit by bit, her dream began to fall into place almost like a fairytale (but one with lots of hard work, of course.)
More than jewelry, Sahira’s pieces are a celebration of individuality and inclusivity. All jewelry is handmade with immense love and care in sterling silver with 14k gold plating and meticulously set with cubic zirconia stones.
