Eden + Elie

Design-led. Heritage-inspired. Purposefully made.
— Stephanie and Leon

Architect-turned-entrepreneur Stephanie Choo founded EDEN + ELIE in 2015 with a desire to merge her passions for design, business, and social good. She envisioned a brand that would not only create beautiful and unique handcrafted jewelry but also make a difference in the world. As a personal touch, she named it after her two children. Stephanie’s co-founder, Leon Toh, has a background in impact finance and joined the brand in 2018, inspired by EDEN + ELIE’s design-led, socially-conscious mission.

Based in Singapore, EDEN + ELIE is an artisan jewelry brand creating sustainable modern jewelry inspired by heritage. Their exquisite pieces combine traditional bead-weaving techniques with contemporary materials. Premium glass delica beads made by Japan's oldest seed bead manufacturer ensure durability and colorfastness. Sustainably and ethically sourced 24k plated gold, 14k gold fill, 18k plated rose gold, sterling silver and semi-precious stones are also used. All pieces are lead and nickel-free, making them hypo-allergenic.

EDEN + ELIE’s commitment to handmade craftsmanship is evident in the hours of hand-weaving imbuing every piece with heart and soul. All jewelry is a labor of love and an ode to slower, simpler times. The hand-intensive techniques not only result in one-of-a-kind pieces but also provide fair and sustainable work for local artisans. As a registered social enterprise, EDEN + ELIE is actively engaged in training and employing artisans from underprivileged and special needs communities, particularly adults with autism. Passionate about promoting inclusivity, EDEN + ELIE is a design house driven by impact.
