Sustained Vitality, Ever Rejuvenated
— CHOW

Rooted in a rich legacy of craftsmanship in Hong Kong, Chow Sang Sang is a distinguished name in the realm of fine jewelry. In 1934 in Guangzhou, Mr. Chow Fang Pu founded Chow Sang Sang Goldsmith. The name held profound meaning – “Chow,” his family name, embodied the concept of "Cycles," while "Sang," signifying "Life," united to form a guiding philosophy: "Sustained Vitality, Ever Rejuvenated”.

Fleeing the Japanese invasion in 1938, Mr. Chow Fang Pu moved his family and business to Macau. His three sons took the business forward, and opened a store in Shanghai Street, Mongkok, Hong Kong in 1948. The 1960s saw the brand’s metamorphosis from a gold shop into a jewelry haven of diamonds, jade, and pearls.

Chow Sang Sang expanded rapidly through the ensuing decades. In 1973, they became the first jewelry company listed on Hong Kong's stock exchange. In the 1990s, they became the first Hong Kong jeweler to have an online presence. Besides redefining retail, their designs also garnered international acclaim. In 1983, a year of the pig, the first stylized pig in pure gold was unveiled. Its success led to more signature collections of Chinese zodiac animals.

Today, with over 380 self-operated stores across China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Chow Sang Sang stands as an enduring hallmark of quality. Vincent Chow, the founder's grandson, leads the charge of igniting imagination in jewelry lovers by blending timeless traditions, contemporary artistry and cutting-edge technology. His grandfather’s blessing, "Sustained Vitality, Ever Rejuvenated” continues to inspire innovative thinking. Every exquisite Chow Sang Sang piece invites you to be a part of a story that stretches across decades, celebrating heritage, design and craftsmanship.
