This Kokoto Necklace by Kamaria is a truly special piece, designed to be as unique as the person who wears it. The name "Kokoto," meaning "pebble" in Swahili, speaks to the one-of-a-kind nature of each necklace. It features a lab-created black opal with subtle stripes, set in 925 sterling silver and surrounded by shimmering pave crystals. The adjustable length makes it perfect for a variety of styles, whether worn alone or layered. This piece is a beautiful statement of personal style and also supports a great cause.
Kamaria is more than just a jewelry brand—it's a mission to empower and support survivors of sexual assault and power-inequality trauma. Founded by cousins Ellie and Kristen, who are survivors themselves, Kamaria dedicates 10% of its proceeds to Restore Dignity, a nonprofit offering direct support to survivors pursuing higher education. Kamaria, meaning "moonlight" in Swahili, symbolizes hope and resilience. Each piece of jewelry is designed to remind wearers that even in the darkest times, like the moon, they have the strength to reflect light and bring hope to themselves and others.
This necklace is crafted with a 14k gold-plate over 925 sterling silver and features a lab-created black opal with pave crystals. It has an adjustable silicon slider clasp and can be worn up to 46cm in length.
