These Basuki Face dangle earrings by Balinese artisan Wayan Asmana are inspired by the Basuki dragon, a protector of the Balinese island. The sterling silver earrings are gracefully ornamented with classic details in a combination finish that creates a captivating illusion. They are a beautiful tribute to Balinese culture and ancient history.
Wayan Asmana, born in 1957 in Celuk, Bali, is a master silversmith carrying forward his village’s centuries-old tradition of jewelry making. Today, Asmana oversees a workshop of fifteen artisans, fostering an atmosphere of harmony and dedication. His work, rooted in heritage yet crafted with contemporary appeal, sustains not only his family but also his community.
