This Splendorous set of three stretch bracelets by Peruvian artisan Ubaldina Paucar Achancaray is inspired by the ancient Inca culture. Each bracelet in the set is distinct yet beautifully complements the others. One features handcrafted beads with a circle motif, another has petite sterling silver beads, and the third is accented with hand-painted ceramic beads, blue sodalite, and yellow acrylic beads. The combination of different materials and patterns creates a cohesive and artistic trio.
Ubaldina Paucar Achancaray, known as Dina, was born in Cusco in 1953, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inca. Surrounded by the cultural richness of her homeland, she discovered her love of craft in school, later studying fine arts and ceramics in Pisac. What began as a personal passion became a family legacy when she and her husband, once an automotive mechanic, turned to ceramics and jewelry-making together. With patience and dedication, they built a workshop where their children also learned the art, blending Inca-inspired heritage with contemporary design. Though Dina faced the loss of her husband, the family continues to honor his memory and their shared craft. Today, their jewelry and decorative ceramics reflect resilience, unity, and a commitment to carrying forward Peru’s ancestral artistry with love.
Handcrafted from sodalite, ceramic, acrylic beads, and 925 sterling silver accents, each stretch bracelet measures 7 inches inner circumference. The color, size, and motif may vary slightly.
