Trained by Abdul Rasit with guidance from master carvers Pak Dewa and Bli Kadek, he developed expertise in bone and wood carving. Inspired by Balinese culture and the natural world of flowers, leaves, and animals, he creates intricate jewelry and decorative pieces using simple, accessible materials. Determined to refine his skills, he studies books, online resources, and the work of fellow artisans. Despite financial challenges, including supporting his family during difficult times, his commitment remains unwavering. Each finished design that brings joy to others is, for him, the greatest reward. His work embodies perseverance, artistry, and the enduring beauty of Balinese tradition.

These handcrafted hook earrings are made with Sawo wood and sterling silver. They measure 2.7 inches in length and 1.7 inches in width, and have a matte finish.
