Sisters Josefina and Cecilia transformed grief into artistry through their marble stone jewelry project. What began with a simple basket of stones inherited from their mother evolved into a journey of healing, creativity, and design. By hand-painting each stone, they discovered a medium capable of conveying memories, emotions, and history beyond mere form or color. Every stone is treated as unique, guiding their brush to reveal natural imagery inspired by childhood memories, Mexico’s vivid traditions, and its landscapes. Over the years, their self-taught process has matured through trial, error, and the insights of their clients. Today, their workshop is both livelihood and passion, where they embrace the challenges of craftsmanship while celebrating the nobility of marble as a canvas. Each finished piece becomes a singular work of wearable art, carrying the sisters’ devotion to transformation, culture, and shared human experience.

This handcrafted pendant necklace is made with a hand-painted howlite pendant, crystal beads, and 14k gold-plated steel accents on a waxed polyester cord. The necklace has a 15.8-inch inner circumference and the pendant measures 1.6 inches in length and 0.8 inches in width.
