This Jasper Quartz Bead and Karen Silver Wristband Bracelet by Siriporn Tongwat evokes the image of a stone path through a green meadow. A row of cylindrical jasper beads lies between two rows of round green quartz beads. The rows of beads are wrapped to green leather cords, and the bracelet fastens with a silver button stamped with a flower from the Karen hill tribe.
Siriporn Tongwat, affectionately known as Koy, is a Thai jewelry designer whose journey began with an early fascination for architecture and later found expression in the artistry of beads. Born in Petchabun and now based in Chiang Mai, she discovered her calling amid the city’s vibrant festivals and cultural traditions. Her first creations were simple bracelets crafted from polished wood and hemp, evolving into intricate beaded works that merge glass, stones, soil, and gemstones in sculptural harmony. In 1997 she co-founded a workshop with fellow artist Kai Kitima, later opening her own shop where each piece was designed as a one-of-a-kind treasure. Though she no longer runs a storefront, her designs continue to reach collectors through Bangkok boutiques. Inspired by quiet walks and the beauty of nature, Koy’s jewelry captures delicate transformations, from grass flowers to butterflies, reflecting life’s poetry in wearable form.
Handcrafted from dyed quartz, dyed jasper, leather cord, and 950 silver, this adjustable wristband bracelet measures 7.3 to 8 inches L and 0.8 inches W. It has an oxidized finish and a button clasp. Avoid contact with water, and colors may vary slightly.
