This Chalcedony and Leather Beaded Wrap Bracelet from Thailand by Siriporn Tongwat captures the beauty of a "Spring Fog." The bracelet is beaded with gems of chalcedony that encircle the wrist, strung between two cords of leather. The adjustable bracelet closes with a Karen silver clasp and is a beautiful blend of natural materials.
Siriporn Tongwat, affectionately known as Koy, is a Thai jewelry designer whose journey began with an early fascination for architecture and later found expression in the artistry of beads. Born in Petchabun and now based in Chiang Mai, she discovered her calling amid the city’s vibrant festivals and cultural traditions. Her first creations were simple bracelets crafted from polished wood and hemp, evolving into intricate beaded works that merge glass, stones, soil, and gemstones in sculptural harmony. In 1997 she co-founded a workshop with fellow artist Kai Kitima, later opening her own shop where each piece was designed as a one-of-a-kind treasure. Though she no longer runs a storefront, her designs continue to reach collectors through Bangkok boutiques. Inspired by quiet walks and the beauty of nature, Koy’s jewelry captures delicate transformations, from grass flowers to butterflies, reflecting life’s poetry in wearable form.
Handcrafted from dyed chalcedony, leather cord, and 950 silver, this adjustable wrap bracelet measures 20.8 to 21.8 inches L and 8 mm W. It has a combination finish and a button clasp. Avoid contact with water. The natural stone color and variegation will vary.
