Ni Nyoman Pemiluwati, affectionately known as Komang Yut, was born in Celuk, a Balinese village celebrated for its silversmithing heritage. Growing up in her father’s workshop, she learned the art of silver while assisting with gemstones and jewelry finishing, experiences that left a lasting mark, both in skill and in memory. Though she later earned a degree in accounting in Denpasar, her true calling remained jewelry design. In 2003, she and her husband began developing original collections, persevering through difficult times with resilience and creativity. Together, they built a workshop that balances professionalism with warmth, employing artisans in an environment filled with camaraderie and laughter. Now a mother of three, Komang Yut continues to honor her family’s legacy, blending tradition with innovation to craft silver jewelry of enduring beauty. Each piece reflects both her artistry and the spirit of Bali’s silversmithing traditions.
