Ketut Sulastri is a Balinese jewelry designer whose life and work are defined by resilience, artistry, and devotion to her craft. Born to parents who worked in construction, she began silversmithing as a child to help support her family, paying school fees while nurturing a quiet passion for design. By the age of 15, Ketut was already creating original pieces, blending the intricate beauty of Balinese arts and crafts with the evolving sensibility of contemporary jewelry. A decade later, she opened her own shop, a milestone that not only marked her independence but also her commitment to uplifting others. Today, she leads a collective of 20 neighborhood women, many of them homemakers, who are empowered with meaningful work through her designs. Working in sterling silver, gemstones, beads, and cord, Ketut continues to craft jewelry that honors her heritage while offering her community a pathway toward greater opportunity and dignity.

Handcrafted from 925 sterling silver, amethyst, and a nylon cord with a high polish finish, this necklace has an adjustable length from 27.5 to 28.5 inches, with a 2.4 x 1.3-inch pendant, and closes with a lobster claw clasp.
