Ketut Jagrasunu, born in Buleleng in 1962, grew up in a family where teaching and jewelry-making were intertwined. His parents, both educators and goldsmiths, filled his childhood with the rhythm of traditional Balinese craftsmanship. After facing early hardships, Ketut built a career as a jewelry artisan, driven by resilience and dedication to his family. Today, his daughter’s success at the University of Indonesia is one of his proudest achievements, a reflection of years of perseverance. His jewelry blends minimalist design with Balinese motifs inspired by flowers and leaves, each piece preserving cultural heritage while embracing modern aesthetics. With hands-on involvement in design and production, Ketut also oversees a team of artisans, ensuring precision and quality. For him, jewelry is not only a livelihood but also a cultural contribution, carrying forward Bali’s traditions into contemporary life and global appreciation.
Handcrafted from 925 sterling silver, peridot, and amethyst with a combination finish, these earrings measure 1.3 inches L x 0.8 inches W x 0.2 inches D and feature post closures.
