Born in 1960 in Ang Thong province, Sukanya Thongperm has followed a path guided by resilience, faith, and a lifelong passion for adornment. Though she holds a degree in English and once worked in hotel souvenir shops, her true calling emerged in jewelry design. Entirely self-taught, she draws inspiration from exhibitions and her own imagination, creating pieces that balance elegance with individuality. Sukanya’s collections are tailored to diverse audiences, from the understated preferences of her British clientele to the bold sophistication favored in the United States. Rooted in variation rather than a fixed style, her jewelry reflects both her adaptability and her artistic spirit. Though she lives alone in Bangkok, her community of friends and faith sustains her, while her dream remains to one day open her own boutique.
